Heterostructures combine semiconductors with different functionalities, synergizing desirable optical, electronic, and structural properties, or even creating entirely new optoelectronic phenomena for advanced applications. In this talk, I detail my work on the development of hybrid organic-inorganic heterostructures heterostructures for next-generation optoelectronics.
